Anyone who pays attention to the ethanol industry knows that corn-ethanol plants are being criticized for using so much energy to make the biofuel, but this new discovery could not only make producing ethanol more energy efficient, but also keep the hog wastewater from polluting the ground. It’s a strange combination, but so far it seems to be working.
