To anyone who has doubted the endurance capabilities of electric vehicles in the past, Zero Motorcycles wants you to tune into their race on April 4th-5th. But the event, appropriately dubbed 24 Hrs of Electricross, isn’t just any race – it’s an endurance race for electric motorcycles. The event is taking place at 408MX Motocross Track in San Jose, California, and all 10 teams have already signed up and are ready to go. The event is a great way to showcase Zero Motorcycle’s tentpole vehicle, the Zero X, which is all lithium-ion battery powered, and makes no noise at all. That will be the biggest shock of all – watching an all weekend motocross race without any noise at all. Check the replies to watch former NASA engineer and Zero Motorcycle’s founder talking about and testing out the Zero X with Jay Leno.
