Have you been cutting back on your power consumption around the house and want all of your Twitter followers to know it? Rather than straight-up bragging day after day, you could hook up a modified power meter to tweet just how energy efficient you are. The Tweet-A-Watt uses a wireless module to send all of your energy data to your nearest computer, which then uses a predefined Twitter account (old or new) which then publishes your daily KWH usage from the day. There’s instructions right here on how you can make your own, or follow the Tweet-A-Watt makers at their Twitter page. Also, if you’re an avid Twitter fan, make sure to follow Greener Ideal and keep up to date with all of your green news!
