Leo Dicaprio Private Island Eco Resort in Belize

Early next year, Leonardo DiCaprio’s new private island eco-resort on Blackadore Caye island outside of Belize will begin construction, but it seems like there’s a bit of controversy over whether or not the eco-resort is very environmental at all. Although he promises to keep detrimental effects from the construction to a minimum, it’s undeniable that habitats will be upturned. But, on the plus side, the island is going to be used to test innovative green technologies, and will have a solar paneled airstrip for power needs. So, what do you think of Leo’s new eco-resort?
