One of our more interesting stories from this past week was the slowed growth of the Great Barrier Reef - but one Canadian man is trying to do his part to help it. Rob Hutchings is planning to swim the 2,300 km length of the Great Barrier Reef (protected by a shark cage) in order to raise awareness about the struggling aquatic ecosystems. He believes that, even if the challenge takes him 5 months, it’s worth it in order to save the only living organism visible from space. He won’t be starting until Nov 1 of this year, so stay tuned to keep track of his progress in the future.
