Although it wasn’t developed by Gordon Ramsay, the world’s first clean energy system for restaurants has been announced by Owl Power, and it seems like something that even the toughest restauranteurs would want to get their hands on.Although it wasn’t developed by Gordon Ramsay, the world’s first clean energy system for restaurants has been announced by Owl Power, and it seems like something that even the toughest restauranteurs would want to get their hands on. The system works by recycling used vegetable oil and using it to generate electricity, as well as hot water for all of the restaurant’s needs. The system is called Vegawatt, and has been running successfully at Finz Seafood and Grill since last month. It is a great way for restaurants to save thousands of dollars in heating costs, while getting rid of their waste at the same time. That sounds like something Ramsay might agree with.
