Canon Teams Up With Canadian Celebrities for Earth Day

George Strombowhatever For this year’s Earth Day events, Canon announced it will be continuing its series of “The Other Side Of The Lens” with a group of 12 Canadian celebrities, including George Stroumboulopoulos (pictured left). This series puts the camera into the hands of a person who is normally being photographed, and asks them to take shots of nature. The photos, which are to be featured in a gallery for Earth Week, help create awareness about environmental issues. Keep reading to see the full roster of celebrities, and to see some of the photos from last year’s exhibit.

This year, the 12 Canadians taking part in The Other Side Of The Lens are:

George Stroumboulopoulos
Robert Bateman
Sheila Watt-Cloutier
Megan Follows
Jian Ghomeshi
Ronnie Hawkins
Jacques Languirand
Mark McKinney
Stuart McLean
Michael Stadtlander
Laura Vandervoot
Moses Znaimer

In case you aren’t able to make it to the Richmond in Downtown Toronto to see the exhibit, check out each celebrity’s photos online!

So, who has the most talent, and who should stay in front of the camera lens?

Here are my two personal favourites:

George Stroumboulopoulos: Picture 2
