• The Tower Companies Receive Green Award from Washingtonian Magazine

    Tower CompaniesThis week, the Corporate Leader in Green Building award was given to The Tower Companies by Washingtonian Magazine. Pictured right is 1050 King St in Washington, D.C., and is just one of the new developments by the Tower Companies that has made them a leader in green building. This building, expected to be finished by this fall, is an 11-story office building and is designed to be LEED Gold Certified. Keep reading for more about the Tower Companies’ properties and how they are continuing to go green.

    Also under the Tower Companies’ roster is 2000 Tower Oaks Blvd in Rockville, MD (pictured below).

    Expected to be completed this summer, this building also was designed to be LEED Gold Certified, and will feature superior air quality, energy efficiency, and Vedic design principals ”to improve occupant health and well being”.
