It's a prize that's worth over $750,000, and would blow any Extreme Makeover: Home Edition episodes out of the water. It's HGTV's Green Home, and it's up for grabs in a contest going on right now. The house has already been stamped with a Platinum LEED certification as well as an Indoor airPLUS label, neither of which are easy to achieve. It's also been built with 30 additional green building design and construction features to make the home as environmentally friendly and energy efficient as possible.

I would like to win this house, because I live in a lease apt. I dont have to much space. And I know that with a house like this my kids and grand childs could come over from Puerto Rico, and stay with me. More ofen, Since I am, here alone. I would fill bless. If I could only win this house it would make the biggest diffrence in our lives.We live in a 2 bedroom house that we pay 725 for each month. and just our monthly electric and water cost is over $300 a month.our gas for the week is $ 250 just for my husband to drive back and fourth to work every week.and on top of all this we still have to find a way to get food for our kids every week and we have to make it though my youngest childs kindney problems.This house would mean the world to us to not have to worry how were going to get the money to pay our next months rent.knowing that we will always have somewhere to lay our heads at night would take such a huge burden off of our family and give us more peice of mind and time to focus on the positives of our lives.

My prayers would be answered if I could win this. With winter coming up here, there are no jobs. We've been out of work for almost 2 years. The relocation would be a good thing. Being "green" is a very good thing. My husband has done reserch on this. This house would be fantastic!

I would love to win this house..im ready to relocate to another state to give the kids a new look and get away from the city.there's so much crime going on that moving somewhere nice and peaceful would benifit the family...

I live with my mother who is on a restorator. This machine makes a lot of noise and makes it almost impossible to rest. I would love to relocate to a warmer climate and have a house big enough to have some privacy. I would love to have room for family and friends.
